I love Pres. Uchtdorf and his presidency message in June 2009 Ensign hit a special cord in my heart. When we had our Home Teachers tonight, Bro. Hackett was giving the lesson and Vergene quoted a favorite passage he gave to his Home Teaching families. It states:"Prayer is a heavenly gift designed to help us achieve spiritual lift. It enhances and cultivates our relationsip with God. Isn't it remarkable that we can converse with the supreme Source of wisdom and compassion in the universe at any time of our choosing, in any place?"
Please read or reread this message and ponder the meaning to the words!!

I LOVE pres. Uchdorf also! I have to admit he has been my fave ever sense he became one of the 12. My ears perk up whenever he speaks. Thank you for sharing this. I love it! I think Prayer is an amazing gift that we take so lightly sometimes. And the fact that it goes both ways, we can get answers! I think there are alot of people out there who don't know that. So sad.
