WOW, life is ............

I know in everyone's life there are times when you have to sit back and say, WOW!! Case in point: In church on Sunday, one of our return missionaries gave a talk about her mission and all she learned when she served in Alaska. She made the comment about turning our mindset around and instead of "enduring" to the end we should be "enjoying" to the end! What a wonderful idea! Making our lives so we live as disciples of the Savior, being able to walk in his footsteps to best of our abilities and when we finally get to go home, He can say "Well done"!!! The times they are a-changing and the only way we can roll with it, is to do what we know we should be doing! Being thankful for what we are given, not sweating the small stuff, if we have control over it, fine, if we don't, move on and spend that time building the kingdom here on earth. A wonderful person once told me to project positive energy and positive situations will come to me!! I know it is easier said than done but I have been trying to do this and I must admit it works!!!! Oh you can be sure the adversary is hot on my heels, trying his best to tear me and all I love down but you can be darn sure I look to my Savior for He has been below the lowest level and we only have to put our situations in His hands!!!! Therefore, my new motto is "Enjoy to the end"!!! Come on , join me!!!!

The greatest blessings are right in front of me .....

I must admit I am starting to see the greatest blessings in my life are the ones right in front of me and my world is better for it. I get so wrapped up in the uncontrollable events, I sometimes leave the controllable ones behind. My sweet husband has such a keen way of helping me see if I deal with the blessings I have and stop worring about the day to day grind, my life is so complete and as my sweet daughter, Shawna, says the adversary is winning if we allow him to do so therefore we must take control and follow the Savior.
Life is so short and we have so much to experience and grow from, we just need to remember why we here and "get r done"!!!!
My love to all who have touched my life in some way and we are all definitely in this together!!!!

This is what I mean by priorities ....

Even though C.J. has been home for a little over two months, these pictures were taken the two days after we got to Safford. C.J. got in on a Tuesday, the next day Trevor had knee surgery and the day after that he and Heather stayed until the following Monday so they could be here for our missionary's homecoming. That's what family is all about!! Rex took a week off of work so he could be here for his brother, that's what I'm talkin' bout!! So we had all our family under one roof and this mama was one grateful, excited and relieved woman!!!!!!!

Where did the time go ???!!!

Okay, this is now one of my priorities since I have put my life in on a schedule (and when I can get to the computer since C.J. is using it for all his college assignments). I am home today and 1/2 day Thurs and yesterday with the flu and this is the first time I have been pretty much upright.
I am truly blessed and now I can focus on the essentials and leave the non-essentials to lie where they may!
